Room 28

Here is Room 1 starting the garden outside Room 28.  We had to spread out and mix the mulch and soil.  We found lots of little worms that like to hide in the dark. Thanks Mrs Andrews and Mrs Adshead for building this outside Room 28.  We wonder how the garden will transform next?

Cornwallis Beach

Morning tea time.

Yeh, we made it to the beach.
Now for some food before sea and sand time.

Here we are building our sandcastle.

We are digging our tunnel for the water to go through.

More sand after our wonderful swim in the sea.

I wonder what I can find digging here?

The Junior School and Middle School went to Cornwallis Beach on the 18th of February.   Our friends and families came too.  We all had a fantastic day!!!

This weeks letter is ' l '

Today Rooms 1 and 2 made lamingtons all by ourselves.  First Miss Grant made the chocolate icing using cocoa and icing sugar.  Next we got a piece of sponge cake and dipped it into the icing.  After that we rolled it in the coconut.  Then we put it on a napkin so we could eat it at morning tea.  Yum!!!  It was a special day.

Kia Ora from Room 1. We are currently a class of 11 but will soon grow in numbers.
