Week 3

Wow yet another action packed week.

On Wednesday the Junior School went to Cornwallis Beach and had an awesome day.  The weather was perfect, the children all had a great time and the parents were all a great help to make the day even better.  Thanks!!

It was the letter 'Ii" this week and we made ice blocks.  They were yum!!!

Week 2

On Monday we played on the instruments with Mr McClay.  We liked playing the drums, the piano.  The big cymbals were LOUD!!!

On Tuesday we made lanterns with Room 1 and 2 because it is nearly Chinese New Year.  It is going to be the year of the sheep.

First we drew a picture.

We coloured it in brightly.

Then we folded the paper in half and cut lines n it.  We put a handle on our lanterns.


This week is the letter "Tt" week. Today we made cheese Toasties which were really yum!!

Week 1 of 2015

Welcome to Room 28's Blog where you will see lots of exciting events and activities that we are doing in 2015.

We have had our first week at school and have done some exciting activities already. Below is a picture of all the wonderful children in Room 28. For 9 of the children they had their very first day of school and are ready for learning.

It was the letter L week where we did different learning around the letter.  As a part of this week we made Lamingtons.  We first got to cut the sponge into halves and then into quarters before rolling it in chocolate icing and then coconut.

We also had the experience of Playball with Coach James.
